캐나다 출신의 미니어처 조각가인 소피아 몰나르의 ‘음식 반지’ 작품을 보면 ‘귀엽다’는 생각과 함께 ‘먹고 싶다’는 생각이 마구 솟구친다.

그도 그럴 것이 손가락에 끼우면 딱 알맞은 크기의 작은 반지 사이즈지만 정교하고 생생한 표현 덕분에 마치 진짜 음식처럼 보이기 때문이다. 플라스틱, 유리, 금속, 세라믹 등으로 만든 이 조각품들은 몰나르가 일일이 손으로 깎아서 만든 수제품들이다.

고객이 원하는 음식이나 특별하게 기념하고픈 음식들로 주문 제작이 가능하며, 가격은 개당 10~20달러(약 1만1000~2만 2000원)다.
