These "wood" (in real life they are wood but these miniatures are plastic) are used in "kaiten" sushi restaurants(conveyor belt sushi restaurants). At the restaurants I've been to they tend to put special sushi on these.7 sets come with miniature tongs as well. The last pictures, while not the same slotted wood dish, gives you an idea of how they are used. Of course, you can use these for any kind of project!
