Gorgeous handmade sew on buttons

I've been seriously in the mood to create and I'm always finding fabulous fabrics but since I can't sew to save my life I decided to make these buttons instead. They are all cotton but have chiyogami paper patterns that are just stunning! Each has gold which adds a touch of elegance. These are big buttons as you can see from the one picture....1 1/2 inches! Big beautiful buttons! Please click on the picture to be taken to the listing.

Youtube Video showing how to make miniature food!

I sometimes get asked how to make miniature food with the clay that we sell but I can't answer that as I have never made them before. Well...I found this video on youtube and thought I would share! It is pretty cool! It doesn't say which clay she uses but resix clay is very popular in Japan for making miniature food.

Cute Japanese Nail Art!

I love these little cuties! I bought monkeys and pandas. There are instructions in English on how to put them on and take them off but basically you put them on your nails and then brush a layer of top coat on top and let it dry.

First post about special order product availability.

Ok....this is my first post about a product that I already sell but not sure about selling this set. I have sold the small tubes of pink and white and the large bags of white but is anyone interested in this set? It is the silicone whip cream clay.
This set comes with 6 colors. Each tube contains 20 grams. There is one decorative tip included with the set. The colors are white, pastel pink, darker pink, yellow, pastel blue and "chocolate". The set would be $65 plus shipping.
Please note....if you want to decorate something made from ABS polycarbonate you must make the whipped cream decorations on wax paper and let dry first...then glue them on otherwise it won't stick. I offer cake blocks, rolled cake blocks (that you can cut to any size)...these can be directly decorated with the whipped cream clay.
1)Use in a well ventilated area.
2)Poke a hole in the mouth of the tube.
3)Connect the decorating tip.
4)Hold the same way as if you were decorating a cake.
5)If you wish to decorate the item, go ahead and decorate it. Or you can use wax paper and make the decorations first and then glue them on after. Please use wax paper so your decorations don't stick while drying.
6)Point the tube right down and squeeze out the desired amount.
Depending on the size of your whipped cream decoration, it will take at least a day to dry. Before 24 hours, the outside may appear to be dry but inside it is wet so please don't move it. Please dry in a well ventilated area.
If you are interested in this set please email me at from-japan-with-love@hotmail.com

Kawaii Cute Japanese Small Resin Clay Mold-Sakura Cherry Blossoms

This is cute! This small resin clay mold makes beautiful puffy 3D sakura cherry blossoms (3mm ~ 16mm - 14 sizes).Only to be used with resin clay-for example resix clay. These blossoms and petals are really teeny tiny...as you can see from the picture you can use them on fake nails!

We also sell resix clay here.

This is an excellent craft clay for miniature food and doll in Japan. It is called "Resix" clay. It is a beautiful white clay. It is more soft and flexible than any other craft clay. It is starch and resin clay. You air dry this-no need to bake! It takes between 2-3 days to dry depending on the size.

Great Cutters For Bentos!!

I LOVE these!!! Ok....first we have the ABC cutters. You can leave a message or your child's name on their rice or other bento foods! This is best used on deli meats, cheese or soft cooked veggies. They recommend that the food be less than 3mm so sliced cheese, deli ham etc would be perfect. If you want to use veggies (little carrots stars), boil the veggies first. This kit comes with 2 little "pokers". So, if the meat/cheese gets stuck, just poke it out. Each letter is about 1.5 cm long. There is also a star and a little bird.

Next we have these fabulous sandwich cutters! This is so cute!!! Your kids (or you!) will love to eat sandwiches in these cute shapes. It is one "cutter". You make the sandwich. Position the cutter on the sandwich and push down. You will get a pig, cat, dove and duck! Perfect for bentos or parties!

We also have this set...a whale, elephant, dog and a car!

Kawaii Cute Japanese Paper Clay And Book Kit-Environmentally Friendly Clay-Animal Set

This clay kit is fabulous. It comes with "eco" ("green" clay) paper clay. It says "tree free" and that means they use pulp from sugarcane after they process it for sugar instead of wood for this paper clay. It is PVC free so it doesn't let off any toxic fumes. The company says this clay is good for making thin items like flower petals, ropes, dolls and accessories. There are 5 colors of clay included in this kit: white, red, blue, yellow and black. In the book they explain using both Japanese and lots of pictures how to combine the colored clay to get different colors such as dark brown, green etc. The book comes with detailed pictures on how to make all the animals seen on the front cover. Of course, you don't have to follow the book...you can make whatever you like. All items take between 24-48 hours to dry (air dry).
