This vintage Japanese rubber stamp is from the "昭和" "showa period" . The "showa" period is from 1926-1989 but these are at least 30 years old.

This would be perfect for using as a stamp with ink or for stamping clay etc.

This stamp is "一" "ichi" = "one, 1".

It measures 1cm wide x 2.2cm Long.

This is a vintage mold called "kashigata".

In the past, when a person died, it was expensive to give flowers or fresh food so, people made sweets (these are made from soy flour, rice flour and sugar) in the form of flowers, fish etc. These items were then placed on the "butsudan" (family shrine found in the house) for the dead person.

The sweets are for decoration only.

On this mold is a plum blossom sweets mold.

*You can use this mold as food mold to cook.

The details on this mold are really amazing.

It measures 10 cm long x 15 cm wide x 4.3 cm tall. Inside it measures 7.6 x 7cm.

Художница Sofia родилась в Канаде, но живет и работает в Японии. А все мы знаем, насколько странными для не-азиатов кажутся изобретения, творения и образ жизни японцев, китайцев и прочих жителей востока. Видимо, "нахватавшись" тамошнего колорита, девушка и начала творить очень оригинальные и желанные (с точки зрения японских модниц) и очень странные и диковинные (с точки зрения европейцев) украшения и создала собственную маленькую студию SouZouCreations.

В принципе, что является основной музой мастерицы, видно невооруженным глазом. Еда во всех ее проявлениях и разновидностях, от аппетитных булочек и пирожных до суши, кофе и какао.
