Description
We were lucky to come across a box full of hand carved rubber stamps from the "昭和" "showa period" . The "showa" period is from 1926-1989.
This stamp set has two Kanji (Chinese characters). One is "海" "Umi" (sea) and the other is "岸" "Kishi" (shore). These are meant to be used together-they are also used individually.
Here is some interesting info about these Kanji:
The 3rd picture is "海" sea. The 4th picture is "岸" shore.
They have obviously been used but are in excellent condition (might need a bit of dusting off). They will add a uniqueness to your art or will be a great addition to a collection.
They measures 6x6 cm.
